This year will mark the sixth year since the Great East Japan Earthquake. On this occasion, the FPCJ invited senior executives of the METI Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE) and the the Fukushima Daiichi Decontamination and Decommissioning Engineering Company of TEPCO, to explain the current situation and progress of decommissioning and measures for contaminated water at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.
The briefing had a total of 44 participants, including 31 journalists from Australia, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, South Korea and USA.
