Announcing the Kickoff Meeting of TMG’s TIME TO ACT Climate Action Movement- Overcoming the COVID-19 Crisis and Accelerating Climate Actions for the Future –
The world is currently facing two major crises, the COVID-19 pandemic and the climate crisis.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is promoting the sustainable recovery of a healthy society in addition to climate change measures.
Now is the time to act. Tokyo Governor Koike Yuriko hosts an online conference “Sustainable Recovery: TIME TO ACT - Overcoming the COVID-19 Crisis and Accelerating Climate Actions for the Future-” to launch a worldwide movement to speed up climate action from Tokyo.
At the conference, the heads of major cities and leaders from various fields will gather to present their “actions needed immediately” from the perspective of sustainable recovery.
