/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Japan is facing various social issues such as Infectious diseases, energy and food crises, and climate change due to global warming. In addition, population decline and declining birthrate and aging population are serious ongoing social problems.
In the "Basic Policy for the Digital Garden City National Concept", the government has decided that "public and private sectors should work together" instead of "public or private sector" in order to transform local social issues into engines of growth. Cabinet Office aims to promote Regional Revitalization driven by SDGs.
In the annual International Forum on SDGs for Regional Revitalization 2023, we share and show some practical examples about a new "sustainable community development" led by innovation and advanced regional revitalization related to GX (Green Transformation), DX (Digital Transformation), and startups. On top of that, we will use the communication and discussion at this forum as an opportunity to accelerate the resolution of social issues through various innovations and aim to deepen and expand the regional revitalization driven by SDGs.
<Honorable presenters will be on stage!>
Mr. Junichi Miyakawa, President and CEO, SoftBank Corp.
Mr. Yoshiharu Hoshino, CEO, Hoshino Resort Co., Ltd.
Mr. Koizumi Fumiaki, CEO, Kashima Antlers F.C. Co., Ltd. / Director, President of Mercari, Inc.
Highly recommended for those who
