The 2nd International Symposium on the Fukushima Health Management Survey, focusing on thyroid and mental health (Feb. 2 and 3, 2020 in Fukushima)

Fukushima, Japan―Fukushima Medical University’s Radiation Medical Science Center for the Fukushima Health Management Survey will hold its 2nd international symposium on February 2 and 3, 2020.


Entitled, “Build Back Better, Together. Fukushima Health Management Survey updated, focusing on thyroid and mental health,” the symposium aims to promote understanding of the Health Management Survey and its results among Fukushima residents and to learn from the experience and knowledge of internationally renowned experts.


During two days of the symposium, the total of 19 medical professionals from Japan, America and Australia (as of January 10), will present and discuss findings of the Health Management Survey and other related issues as well as future prospects toward Fukushima’s recovery.
