No Olympic Games has been held during a pandemic such as the one affecting this year’s Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. Through our performance of the traditional Japanese dance "Yosakoi", we offer our full support to the Games at this difficult time. By enhancing the spirit of the world's largest sports festival, we pray for peace and harmony among its people. And, through performance of "Yosakoi", we hope to inspire the athletes to perform at their peak.
Please take this opportunity to search the internet for "Yosakoi" in order to find out more about the event and, if you like, also join with other representatives of the media to dance. And, after the Games, we would be grateful if you could report that "Yosakoi" was one of the reasons for the success of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.

Contents: Yosakoi teams (about 30 teams) from Japan and overseas will perform at the venue, via live telecast and by video.
We invite the overseas media in Japan to the venue to enjoy the charm of Yosakoi, which originated in Kochi in southern Japan and has subsequently spread overseas, and will broadcast the event to the world on YouTube.
