This will be the fourth symposium, and a total of nine presenters (as of February 3rd) from Japan and overseas will join. Last time, which was held in the 10th anniversary of the nuclear accident, we focused on summarizing the results of the last 10 years. This time, we will examine the effects on the thyroid gland based on the latest dose evaluation of the 2020 report released by the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation(UNSCEAR), and discuss the impact of radiation to health of residents based on the materials obtained from the "Fukushima Health Management Survey."
