Reports on Japan: Assistance for Today, Singapore

A reporting team of the Singapore daily “TODAY” visited Japan from November 24 to December 1, 2013 to cover Japan’s preschool education. FPCJ supported their coverage by arranging a total of 12 interviews and visits to many sites including kindergartens and day-care centers.
TODAY is the daily English newspaper of Singapore’s largest media company MediaCorp Pte Ltd. The project this time aimed to contribute to the improvement of preschool education at home by reporting on Japan’s situation.
After a lot of communication with the reporting team for some months, FPCJ arranged interviews with relevant Government ministries and experts on child education, and also visits to a variety of public and private kindergartens and day-care centers. FPCJ also arranged meetings with some parents who had children in day care centers.
