Video Report: Japan’s Cybersecurity Strategy—Preparing for Tokyo 2020 (Ms. Mihoko Matsubara, Chief Security Officer Japan, Palo Alto Networks K.K.)

With the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games fast approaching in only three years, in April this year the national government’s Headquarters for the Promotion of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games decided on a basic security strategy, including countermeasures for cyberattacks. With cyberattacks growing more varied and complex in recent years, and becoming a major international threat, there is significant interest in how cybersecurity will be improved.

 

The FPCJ  invited Ms. Mihoko Matsubara, an international cybersecurity expert, to discuss preparations for and issues facing the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.  

 

The briefing had a total of 36 participants, including 5 journalists from brazil, China, France, Germany and U.S..
