Video Report (Press Briefing): Launch of the Global Synthetic Drugs Assessment 2014 -World Trends of Narcotic Drugs and Japan’s Situation-

The FPCJ invited Dr. Justice Tettey, PhD, chief of the Laboratory and Scientific Section of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and Mr. Jeremy Douglas, regional representative for Regional Office for Southeast Asia and the Pacific, of UNODC to talk about the launch of the Global Synthetic Drugs Assessment 2014 and also the current drug situation in the world. Mr. Haruo Akagawa, director of the Compliance and Narcotics Division of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan, and Mr. Yoshiya Takesako, Director for Intentional Organized Drugs and Firearms Investigation of the National Police Agency of Japan explained the current situation in Japan.

 

The briefing had a total of 25 participants, including 7 journalists from France, Italy, ROK, Singapore, and the US.
