FPCJ has invited Prof. Yuichi Hosoya of the Faculty of Law, Keio University, to talk about the "Right to Collective Self-Defense." Mr. Hosoya is a member of the Advisory Panel on Reconstruction of the Legal Basis for Security, and the Advisory Panel on National Security and Defense Capabilities, both of which were set up by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
The briefing was attended by a total of 49 persons, showing the increased attetion to the issue abroad. Among the attendees were included 30 journalists from China, France, Germany, the ROK, the U.S., Vietnam and others.
