The IAEA is conducting a mission to Japan to continue its safety review of the ALPS treated water discharge.
The FPCJ has invited Ms. Lydie Evrard, IAEA Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Nuclear Safety and Security and Mr. Gustavo Caruso, Director and Coordinator for the ALPS Safety Review, IAEA Department of Nuclear Safety and Security.
The briefing was attended by journalists from China, France, Germany, Korea, Russia, Spain and Singapore.
