“Role of the Media in Creating Positive Change and Opportunities for Women in Sports
—Towards the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics”
The FPCJ 40th Anniversary symposium will be held on Thursday October 6, 2016. With the Olympics and Paralympics to be held in Tokyo in 2020, this symposium will discuss what role the media can play in creating greater opportunities for female athletes. We will welcome Ms. Ai Sugiyama, a former professional tennis player, to share her experience as one of the top athletes in Japan.
