Press Briefing “Energy Situation in Japan and the LNG Producer-Consumer Conference 2014”
Briefer: Mr. Shinichi Kihara, Director of International Affairs Division, Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI)
On November 6, the LNG Producer-Consumer Conference 2014 will be held in Tokyo. Government officials including ministers, business leaders and experts from LNG producer and consumer countries will participate in the conference. In addition to reviewing the latest trends in the LNG market, there are also plans for discussions on how to ensure a stable, transparent and flexible LNG market.
The FPCJ has invited Mr. Shinichi Kihara, Director of International Affairs Division of Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, METI, to speak at a press briefing. Director Kihara will explain the current energy situation in Japan before speaking about the upcoming LNG Producer-Consumer Conference.
