Twelve Years after the Earthquake, Governor Masao Uchibori Discusses Fukushima’s Reconstruction: The Challenges Ahead (Mr. Masao Uchibori, Governor of Fukushima Prefecture)

It has been nearly 12 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake and the TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident. With the release of treated water from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station into the sea scheduled for this spring or summer, the government has announced that it will "Do its utmost to ensure safety and take thorough measures against harmful rumors.”

 

The FPCJ has invited Governor Uchibori to discuss the current situation of Fukushima at this critical stage, as well as specific policies and issues for a true reconstruction of Fukushima.

 

 

■Please note that you cannot physically attend this briefing, as it will be a Zoom webinar.
