Video Report: “Toward COP21” by Mr. Atsuyuki Oike, Ambassador, Assistant Vice-Minister/ Director General for Global Issues, Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The 21st session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) will be held from November 30 to December 11 in Paris, France.

 

FPCJ invited Mr. Atsuyuki Oike, Ambassador, Assistant Vice-Minister/ Director General for Global Issues, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hiroki Mitsumata, Deputy Director-General for Environmental Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Mr. Takeshi Sekiya, Director of Low-Carbon Society Promotion Office, Ministry of the Environment, to talk about Japan’s positions toward the COP21.

 

The briefing had a total of 30 participants, including 14 journalists from the U.K., the U.S.,Germany, France etc., and 14 embassy representatives.
