Prior to the upcoming election for the president of the Democratic Party of Japan, the candidates held a joint press conference at the Japan National Press Club in Tokyo on August 27 (Sat). At this time, FPCJ simulcast the press conference and provided simultaneous English interpretation in its conference room.
A total of 18 people including journalists from Germany, Italy, Singapore, Taiwan, and the US, and officials from 9 embassies gathered to use this service.
