This press tour was sponsored by Kyoto City, with planning and project support from the FPCJ. Themes the tour covered were Kyoto as the frontline in the preservation of cultural properties, traditional craftsmen cultivating overseas markets, and Kyoto entrepreneurs keeping the craftsman’s spirit alive. Eleven journalists participated in the tour, from China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Bangladesh, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
