Journalists from the “Life Times,” China, visited Japan to cover “Japanese aged lifestyle and commodities,” and “the secret of longevity and medical technology of Japan”.“Life Times,” a newspaper specializing in healthcare information, mainly introducing a latest world medicament trends and healthcare, was founded in 2003, with a circulation of about 600,000 all over China.
The Foreign Press Center/Japan arranged interviews with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, a Private nursing home "Silver City Komagome,”the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology , and Shiseido. In an interview with research associates at each facility that approaches for the accelerating aging society from various points of view, they discussed many forms of research work looking to the future.A series of article based on this time coverage will soon to be published.
