Report: Assistance for Singaporean newspaper Today(June 29 – July 2, 2011)

With the theme of how local governments are dealing with the current situation around nuclear power plants, Ms. Venessa Lee visited Takahama, Fukui prefecture, where Kansai Electric Power Co.,Inc. runs the Takahama nuclear power plant. She conducted interviews with the Mayor and citizens of Takahama, asking how they might be affected psychologicaly after the Fukushima incidents, and if there are any changes in the safety measurement of local nuclear power plants.
