Reports on Japan:Press Briefing “Proposed Plan for the New Scientific Whale Research Program in the Antarctic Ocean”

On November 18, the Government of Japan submitted the proposed plan for the New Scientific Whale Research Program in the Antarctic Ocean (NEWREP-A) to the Scientific Committee of the IWC (International Whaling Commission) . The FPCJ has invited Mr. Joji Morishita, Japan’s Commissioner to the IWC, to speak about the details of the proposed plan.
