At the extraordinary cabinet meeting held on June 24, the Japanese government adopted the Basic Policies for the Economic and Fiscal Policy Management and Structural Reform
(Basic Policies), and the New Growth Strategy.
The FPCJ held a press briefing, inviting Mr. Akira Amari, Minister in charge of Economic Revitalization.
The briefing had a total of 68 participants, including 21 journalists from Canada, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Singapore, the UK, and the US., and 20 embassy representatives.
