Video report: Online Tour for Foreign Press: Amami-Oshima and Tokunoshima, Natural World Heritage Sites

In July 2021, Kagoshima Prefecture’s Amami-Oshima Island and Tokunoshima Island were added to the UNESCO Natural World Heritage List along with Iriomote Island and the northern part of Okinawa Island. Following the registration as a World Heritage, FPCJ held an online tour for the foreign press exploring the bountiful nature of the islands and the culture that developed there.
The tour had a total of 30 participants, including 15 journalists from such countries as Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Swiss, the UK, and the US.
