The Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction will be held in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture from March 14 to18. Prior to the conference, the FPCJ has invited Ms. Margareta Wahlström, Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Disaster Risk Reduction, and Mr. Kenichi Suganuma, Ambassador in Charge of the Third World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction.
The briefing had a total of 45 participants, including 9 journalists from Germany, France, Hong Kong, Philippine, Singapore and the US., and 36 embassy representatives.
