The FPCJ has invited Dr. Yukiko Imada, an Associate Professor with the University of Tokyo Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute who works on event attribution, scientifically analyzing the relationship between abnormal weather and climate change, to discuss this topic from the perspective of the frontlines of research into how extreme weather events and climate change are related.
The briefing was attended by journalists from Belgium, Singapore and US.
