Two Years until the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games—Leveraging the Games as an Opportunity for Societal Change

In two years, the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games will be held on August 25, 2020. The FPCJ has invited briefers including Mr. Yasushi Yamawaki, Vice President of the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and Mr. Junichi Kawai, a six-time Paralympic swimmer who won 21 medals, including five golds, and is now Vice Chair of the Athletes' Commission, Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, to speak about preparations for the Games, the relation between athletes and the Games, and larger social changes leveraging the Paralympics as an opportunity.
