With the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games fast approaching in only three years, in April this year the national government’s Headquarters for the Promotion of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games decided on a basic security strategy, including countermeasures for cyberattacks. With cyberattacks growing more varied and complex in recent years, and becoming a major international threat, there is significant interest in how cybersecurity will be improved. The FPCJ has invited Ms. Mihoko Matsubara, an international cybersecurity expert, to discuss preparations for and issues facing the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
