After a tumultuous primary season, last month Hilary Clinton was officially nominated as the Democratic Party candidate and Donald Trump as the Republican Party candidate for the U.S. presidential election to be held on November 8.
With growing interest in how the outcome of this presidential election will affect future Japan-U.S. relations, the FPCJ has invited Dr. Toshihiro Nakayama, an expert on U.S. politics and foreign policy at the Keio University Faculty of Policy Management, to discuss this topic.
