The FPCJ has invited Mr. Naoshi Hirata, Chairman of the Earthquake Research Committee, professor at the University of Tokyo Earthquake Research Institute, and head of the Earthquake Research Institute Prediction Research Center, to discuss the characteristics of the Kumamoto earthquakes and possible future earthquake activity in Japan.
