Right to Collective Self-Defense
Briefer: Prof. Yuichi Hosoya, Faculty of Law, Keio University
Together with the economic policy, the Abe Administration places importance on altering the constitutional interpretation enabling the right to collective self-defense to be exercised. Discussions and government moves on the matter are getting high attention in and out of Japan.
FPCJ has invited Prof. Yuichi Hosoya of the Faculty of Law, Keio University, to talk about the "Right to Collective Self-Defense." Mr. Hosoya is a member of the Advisory Panel on Reconstruction of the Legal Basis for Security, and the Advisory Panel on National Security and Defense Capabilities, both of which were set up by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. We look forward to your attendance.
