70 Years of International Cooperation—The History and Future of JICA’s Cooperation (Dr. TANAKA Akihiko, President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency )

October 6 this year will mark the 70th anniversary of Japan’s international cooperation.
Ahead of International Cooperation Day (October 6), the FPCJ has invited Dr. TANAKA Akihiko, president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), to discuss the contributions Japan has made to 190 countries and regions since joining the Colombo Plan in 1954 by providing official development assistance (ODA) to developing countries, and the future of Japan’s ODA and JICA.
★This will be a hybrid briefing, with both an online livestream using Zoom and the option of participating in person at the FPCJ briefing room.
★In order to use the simultaneous interpretation function, be sure to install the Zoom application ahead of time (if you connect via browser, the icon for interpretation will not be displayed).
FPCJ supporting members and embassy representatives may also participate in the briefing as observers (admission free).
