EU Fellowship Program: Euronews Journalist Jeremy Fleming-Jones

As part of the 2024-2025 EU Journalist Fellowship Program, Mr. Jeremy Fleming-Jones, editor in chief for EU policy at Euronews, visited Japan from October 6 to 12.

 

Euronews is a European news channel and online media organization that was founded in Lyon, France in 1993, which has around 400 journalists of over 30 nationalities.

 

While in Japan, Mr. Fleming-Jones covered topics including defense and security, the Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), the Japan-EU Digital Partnership, and Japan-EU cooperation on critical raw materials. He interviewed government officials and members of research institutes.

 

After the program finished, Mr. Fleming-Jones commented that even though it was his first time visiting Japan, he was very satisfied with his reporting itinerary.
