Report (Press Briefing): Simultaneous Interpretation Service for the Debate of the Political Leaders (November 30, 2012）

Prior to the official announcement of the election of the House of Representatives on December 4, the leaders of 11 political parties, including the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party of Japan and the Japan Restoration Party, took part in a debate session at the Japan National Press Club on November 30 (Fri). FPCJ simulcast the debate session, providing simultaneous English interpretation in its conference room.
A total of 35 people, including 17 journalists from the U.S., Switzerland, Singapore, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Hong Kong, Canada and Iran, and embassy representatives, used this service.
