The FPCJ invited Dr. Mayumi Yokoyama, a professor at the University of Hyogo, to discuss the background behind the sudden increase in bear attacks, the current state of wildlife management in Japan in comparison with other countries, measures that could be taken to prevent bear attacks, and what relationship people should have with nature.
