Four days before the House of Councillors election, the FPCJ has invited Dr. Yu Uchiyama, an expert in modern Japanese politics and a professor at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, to discuss the outlook for the election and key areas to watch in domestic Japanese politics going forward.
The briefing was attended by journalists from Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, UK and US.
