The FPCJ invited Mr. Kenju Murakami, Deputy Director-General/Deputy Assistant Minister of the International Cooperation Bureau and the African Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
Under the theme of “Strengthening Japan's Relationships with Countries of the Global South through TICAD 9,” he will focus on Japan's new ODA policy in response to changes in the international environment and how Japan is trying to strengthen its ties with African countries, which are at the heart of the Global South, through the opportunities presented by TICAD 9, The presentation focused on Japan's new ODA policy in response to the changes in the international environment.
The briefing was attended by journalists from Singapore and Taiwan.
