The Tokyo Media Center (TMC) will soon begin dispatching valuable information for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020.
Even those without accreditation from The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games can use the TMC’s services.
TMC is a facility operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to serve as a media coverage base for domestic and international media during the Tokyo 2020 Games. Even those without AD from the media centers (MPC/IBC) run by the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee can use the TMC’s services. Apart from offering working environment in an extremely convenient location during the Tokyo 2020, the TMC will provide media tours and other services that assist in media coverage. ※In order to use these services, you must register an account on the TMC website and then obtain a TMC accreditation card. Applications for the TMC accreditation card will be accepted from January 2020. More details will be announced to those with a TMC website account at a later date.

・Details on how to apply for the TMC accreditation card will be shared to TMC-registered users from January 2020 via the website or mail magazines. Please understand that you may not be able to receive TMC accreditation based on screening results.
・The Tokyo Media Center (TMC) is a separate media coverage base and information provider from the Main Press Center (MPC) and International Broadcasting Center (IBC) established at Tokyo Big Sight. These centres are operated by The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to provide information about the Tokyo 2020 Games to the media. Obtaining the TMC accreditation card will not grant access to the MPC, IBC, or the security areas in the stadiums for the Tokyo 2020 Games. In order to use the TMC facilities, those who hold the accreditation for the Tokyo 2020 Games will have to separately register a TMC account and obtain TMC accreditation.
