On Wednesday, August 6, Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc. (TEPCO) will hold a press briefing for foreign media and give an update on the status of decommissioning work at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.

 

During this press briefing, TEPCO will mainly give an update on the progress of fuel debris retrieval including the deliberation status of fuel debris large-scale retrieval from Unit 3.

 

* This press briefing will be held by TEPCO with the cooperation of the Foreign Press Center Japan (FPCJ).

* This will be an online press briefing live-streamed via Zoom webinar with advance registration required. There will be no in-person participation.

* In principle, this press briefing is for foreign media/journalists, but foreign embassy officials to Japan and FPCJ supporting members are also welcome to attend as observers.
