POLA ORBIS HOLDINGS’ traditional craft coordination business SERENDOUCE CRAFTS invites you to experience traditional Japanese craftmanship (monozukuri) during our “Crafting the Future with Monozukuri” exhibition October 28th to November 7th at POLA Museum Annex (Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo).
Traditional craft techniques are evolving to compliment modern lifestyles, contribute to society, and improve people's well-being by promoting responsible consumption and production. Dedicated contemporary artists are breathing new life into Japan’s traditional craft industry by driving innovation while safeguarding tradition.
“Crafting the Future with Monozukuri” showcases 16 selected artists representing various craft fields including ceramics, lacquerware, and glass. You can purchase items at the venue to enjoy at home and experience artists using traditional craft techniques during a limited event.
