Implementation of the IAEA’s 5th Review Mission for Decommissioning of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station

With regard to the decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, the Government of Japan will receive later this month the 5th review mission from the IAEA. The FPCJ will invite a senior official of the IAEA to explain about this review mission.
■Please note that you cannot physically attend this briefing, as it will be a Zoom webinar.
■Date: August 27 (Fri.), 2021, 12:30-13:30 (Deadline for application: Noon, August 26)
■Briefer: Mr. Christophe Xerri, Director of Nuclear Fuel Cycle and Waste Technology, Department of Nuclear Energy, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Leader of the IAEA International Review Team
■Language: English, with consecutive Japanese translation
As in our standard press briefings, there will be a Q&A session at the end.
