Connecting the World: The Road to Expo 2025(Mr. Hiroyuki Ishige, Secretary General, Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition)

Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan will begin at last on April 13.

For 184 days from April 13 to October 13, approximately 160 countries, regions and  international organizations will gather at Yumeshima Island in Osaka under the theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”

The FPCJ has invited Mr. Hiroyuki Ishige, Secretary General of the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, to discuss the latest preparations for the Expo and its appeal.

 

Please note that you cannot physically attend this briefing, as it will be a Zoom webinar.

 

Embassy representatives and FPCJ supporting members may also participate in the briefing as observers (admission free).

 

■Date: Feb. 5 (Wed), 2025, 10:30-12:00 (Deadline for application: Noon, Tuesday, Feb.4)

■Theme: Connecting the World: The Road to Expo 2025

■Briefer: Mr. Hiroyuki Ishige, Secretary General, Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition

■Language: Japanese, with consecutive English interpretation

 

As in our standard press briefings, there will be a Q&A session at the end.

In principle, questions will only be accepted from members of the foreign press.

They will not be distributed in advance.
