Foreign Press Center Japan (FPCJ) proactively supports the reporting activities of foreign media in order to promote the diversity and accuracy of foreign reporting from Japan.

Introduction of Activities
Press Briefings
Speakers including government officials and experts in a variety of fields such as politics, the economy, society, and culture are regularly invited to hold press conferences and briefings for members of the foreign press.
Press tours are planned and operated in cooperation with local governments and businesses to provide opportunities for foreign journalists to directly cover news throughout Japan.
The FPCJ holds symposiums and webinars, inviting journalists from major foreign media outlets to discuss important topics regarding disseminating information about Japan.
Individual Reporting (Support for Reporting Activities)
The FPCJ provides information about reporting in Japan and arranges interviews with government officials and experts upon request from foreign correspondents based in Japan or foreign journalists visiting Japan temporarily.
