My trip to Japan in 2023 was a one in a lifetime experience. Traveling to different cities across the country was truly eye-opening. On my tour, we were able to see how Japan recycles its waste while also visiting sites where the infamous earthquake of 2011 left its mark. From the environmental impact on my career to the cultural exposure, this trip has had a lasting impact on my life for the last two years. I cherish those memories and apply what I have learnt in Japan to my everyday life in the Caribbean. The people and the memories will stay with me forever.
