Outlook for Japanese Diplomacy in 2014

 

Briefer: Mr. Yukio Okamoto, President of Okamoto Associates, Inc.

 

In 2014 Japan faces various diplomatic issues ranging from its relations with the U.S., in which the visit of President Obama to Asian countries and the relocation of the Futenma Air Station draw attention, to its relations with China and the ROK, and its responses to North Korea. 

 

FPCJ has invited Mr. Yukio Okamoto, diplomatic analyst and senior fellow of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), to share his views on the outlook for Japanese diplomacy. Mr. Okamoto is a former diplomat, and has also served as a special advisor to the Prime Minister and the cabinet.
