Press Briefing:“Japanese Politics in the Eyes of Kumamoto’s Governor”

 

Dr. Ikuo Kabashima, Governor of Kumamoto Prefecture

 

 

FPCJ will invite Dr. Ikuo Kabashima, Governor of Kumamoto Prefecture, to talk about Japanese politics. Until he became the governor of Kumamoto in 2008, he was a professor of political science at the University of Tokyo. In this briefing, he will share his unique views on the Japanese politics based on his experiences as both political scientist and leader of a local administration. The briefing will also serve as a valuable opportunity to ask Governor Kabashima directly for his appraisal of the DPJ administration, such issues related to the local administration as a new regional system, and others.

Language: Japanese (with English interpretation)
