| プレスブリーフィング | | Late at night on June 13, the asteroid explorer Hayabusa made a dramatic return to Earth after seven years. Late at night on June 17, Hayabusa’s capsule, which was recovered in Australia, arrived in Japan. Does the capsule contain any material from the asteroid Itokawa? Attention is focused on the particles within the capsule, which are now being examined. FPCJ conducted a press briefing, inviting Professor Junichiro Kawaguchi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), the Hayabusa Project Manager. A total of 25 people including 17 foreign journalists attended this briefing. |
